About FaceTite

FaceTite of the neck and jowls area can sculpt the aging neck and jowl with minimal to no downtime. A Woman Plastic Surgeon offers FaceTite to men and women seeking neck tightening and to help eliminate fat cells under the chin and neck. This premier nonsurgical procedure, recommended by board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Cynthia Mizgala, uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis to heat up and dislodge fat cells so patients can enjoy a smoother, tighter profile. We encourage you to schedule a consultation at our Metairie, LA practice to learn more about FaceTite for the neck and its benefits.

Ideal Candidates

FaceTite is a great choice to treat loose skin under the chin and neck area. You are an ideal candidate for this procedure if you're experiencing classic signs of aging and wish for an improvement in the neckline and jowl area. A consultation with Dr. Mizgala will be the best way to see if this new technology can help you achieve your goals.

Procedure Technique

This aesthetic treatment utilizes a minimally invasive technique that involves inserting a very small cannula beneath your skin after local anesthesia is provided. Once the cannula is placed, the temperature can be monitored and controlled via internal and external thermometers to make sure the heat remains at a therapeutic level. The radiofrequency energy that the FaceTite device emits will be effective in melting fat cells and shrink-wrapping the skin.

What to Expect

After a FaceTite procedure, you will want to rest for the duration of your day. You will be sent home wearing a compression garment. You should be able to return to your daily routine by the next day. It can take around three days for any redness or swelling to subside. Patients will usually notice some awesome improvement immediately after their FaceTite treatment. Gradual improvements will continue until 3 – 8 weeks afterward.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does FaceTite cost?
The cost of FaceTite will depend on your condition and goals and will range between $3,000 – $4,000, depending on what is being addressed. During your first visit, Dr. Mizgala will go over all your cosmetic goals and will then be able to determine treatment and costs.

What about a surgical facelift?
A facelift is another treatment to improve facial aging. Liposuction is also an effective treatment for addressing stubborn pockets of fat under the chin that are unresponsive to diet and exercise. However, if you are not ready for a surgical procedure, then FaceTite may be the route for you.

Can BOTOX or fillers help?
Many times, BOTOX or a filler, like Juvéderm, is incorporated with this procedure to attain even more dramatic results. Typically, the FaceTite treatment is performed first and then BOTOX or fillers are used the next day or one week after your FaceTite treatment. It's important to talk to Dr. Mizgala about all your needs and concerns so she can create a customized treated plan that is suited to your cosmetic goals.

How many treatments will I need?
This treatment is a one-time outpatient procedure. Some patients opt for an additional treatment 6 – 12 months later.

How long will my results last?
Your results will continue to improve over the next few months from your initial treatment. Optimal results are enjoyed at 6 – 12 months.
