Neck Liposuction

Patient Description

This sweet woman in her 50's did not like her neck which gave her no jaw line definition. Taking into account her age, the skin and jowl laxity, Dr. Mizgala recommended a full neck lift to achieve her best results. The patient did not want a neck neck lift surgery with scars. Dr. Mizgala listened to her patient and agreed to perform a simpler 1 hour outpatient liposuction procedure. Given that no skin was actually tightened nor removed, Dr Mizgala informed the patient that the improvement might be limited . The improvement from a simple and short liposuction procedure was astounding to the patient and even impressed Dr Mizgala - the amount of skin retraction is unpredictable after liposuction. The skin lift that occurred with this liposuction procedure was very impressive. Newer technologies such as Renuvion and FaceTite were subsequently developed to improve skin tightening beyond what liposuction alone can achieve.
