Patient Description

This 72 year old woman wanted to get rid of her hanging abdominal pouch. She did not want a full surgery under anesthesia. Dr. Mizgala performed Smartlipo of her entire abdomen in the office while she was awake. After the laser was used to dissolve the fat cells, liposuction was performed to remove 3 liters of dissolved fat. The skin tightening effects of the laser were effective in elevating the previous pouch of fat so that she was much more comfortable and leaner.
