Breast Augmentation

Patient Description

This youg woman did not like the size nor the shape of her breasts. She complained about the breast gap and lack of cleavage. Her nipples and breasts appeared to point outward. Dr Mizgala recommended a nipple relocation at the time of her breast augmentation. A semilunar shaped segment of skin was removed medial to the nipple complex . This skin was removed and the implant was placed under the pectoral muscle through this incision. The nipple complex was then pulled medially or relocated inward to suture the incision. This way, the nipple complex was moved to a more central position at the same time as the breast augmentation surgery. A better position for the nipple is accomplished with a barely visible incision as it fades into the border of the areola.
